Mad Jack Cafe

Hi guys! Welcome back to The Glambitious World! Hope all of you have been doing well. :)

After a long hiatus I've decided to start with something I wasn't too satisfied about. Something rather disappointing. Haha I know it's pretty negative but I only give my very most honest opinions about everything here on my blog.

 So yea, I guess its healthy to have some downs here and there and not always ups..? You feel me bro? Anyways, lets get on to the review of Mad Jack Cafe..

So a few of my classmates and I decided to head to Nex shopping centre which is at Serangoon. We were all craving for a good burger so my muslim friend brought us to Mad Jack Cafe and honestly, I was pretty excited since I've heard about it being good for it's burgers! With a ton of items to choose from the menu, I was pretty spoilt for choices.

After sometime I decided to settle on their Signature Burger which only costed $5.90! But I got it with a side of fries so it was $7.90. This is how it looked like:

Omg, but the moment I took a bite out of it..... I could tell right away that the patty was fake. And when I say fake... I really mean fake. So I told my friend that was having same thing as me. But she thought it was fine. So I kept quite and continued finishing up my 'burger'.

2 of my guy friends ordered the biggest burger on the menu to challenge each other I think.. Hahaha! And being in an F&B course makes us a natural food critique and they totally agreed with my take on their burger. It was the same type of patty used for everyone's burger.

Here's why I said it was fake. Firstly, the texture was not right at all. Instead of having a nice meaty texture, it had more of a mushy horrible mouth feel. Absolutely disgusting. Like there was more flour than meat. Hello why all carbs?! Where's my protein?! ~X(

"You get what you paid for"

The most heart breaking part was that Carl's Jr was just beside us. Like seriously. Sighh.

I have no idea if it's just this outlet with serious issues with their quality of food or are they all the same. I even tasted their Carbonara Linguine and their pasta was over cooked. Making it a plate of mushy creamy mess.

Yeap so thats it from me today! Hope you guys enjoyed reading something different for once. And by different I mean negative..? Hahaha but yea.. Sorry for the lack of posts. I'm still working on it ok! See you guys soon! :-*
